Tax by product
- Checkout / Payment Links: the player can update their ZIP code at checkout — this triggers a live tax recalculation for that transaction
- Web Store: ZIP updates recalculate tax within the login-time country, but cannot change the country itself
Why the amount changed
Different ZIP codes within the same country (and sometimes the same state or city) can carry different tax rates. The update reflects the accurate rate for the player's billing address.
Player in wrong country (Web Store)
The player must log out and log back in from their correct location. ZIP correction does not change the country — only a fresh login does.
